TrainingAs an integral part of our role as an infrastructure organisation and to coincide with our aim to help to strengthen the voluntary and community sector, we offer a range of training courses that target key skills for local organisations, their service users and members of the public. We have a calendar of programmes throughout the year but also offer in house, bespoke training tailored to your requirements, in areas including governance, finance and fundraising. Please find below, details of our current training courses. Contact the CCVS main office on 01206 505250 or email information@ccvs.org if you would like to receive a booking form or find out more. You can, however, access information about other training providers by clicking here. Our local and national training providers page contains useful links to Essex based trainers, as well as national organisations which offer infrastructure support to the voluntary and community sector both by running training courses and providing guidance about training and skills. Colchester CVS is working in partnership with Voluntary Sector Training (VST), an independent charity, to provide high quality, affordable and local training to the voluntary and community sector across Essex. VST runs an open programme of training covering key topics relevant to the sector and tailored training specifically arranged to meet particular needs of organisations.
