Community Transport

CCVS Community Transport is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping those who cannot access public transportation. Be it for reasons of age, disability, illness or geographical isolation; our volunteers and fully-accessible vehicles are here to help those who need it most.

Operating in both Maldon and Colchester, Community Transport welcomes members from anywhere within these two districts. We are a vital link in our community, enabling our members to visit friends; attend lunch clubs, day centres, medical appointments, hospitals and schools.

We offer a number of options for travel, to both groups and individuals, whilst also running a dedicated Abbeyfield bus route and our own varied programme of Excursions and day trips.

Please use the links to the side to find out more information about each scheme.
